Jaya Cook is a recipe collection apps derived from a Malaysian supermarket, Jaya Grocer. The app provides step-by-step videos for the user to follow. Combine with the Jaya Grocer app, the Jaya Cook app allowed users to also purchase the ingredients of the recipe through the online mobile platform.
The project aimed to express a minimalist design. Using only a few colours, the design successfully to set off the contrast of each contents. This helps the users to understand the functionality of the buttons and emphasized the descriptive texts for better reading. Transparency on the app top bar is applied to maximise the screen space without losing the image.
